Sharp Island also known as Kiu Tsui Chau (橋咀洲) is located in Kiu Tsui Country Park (橋咀郊野公園). This is one of Hong Kong's largest islands and is popular for fishing and other water activities. There are a variety of trails on this island and all of them provide stunning views of the coast. It is recommended to plan your hike around the tide times otherwise the path to Kiu Tau will be submerged in water. The path to Kiu Tau is also similar to a path in Shōdoshima, Japan named “Angel’s Road."

Short hike from the Hap Mun Bay Beach to the Kiu Tau Island. Pro tip: plan your hike around the tide times otherwise the path to Kiu Tau will be submerged in water. The path to Kiu Tau is similar to a path in Shodoshima in Japan named “Angel’s Road” - not sure if that is the reason why this path is called “God’s Road”.

We did this from Kiu Tsui to Hap Mun, but it can also be done in reverse (the beach at Hap Mun is nicer than the one at Kiu Tsui). Good variety and not too easy/boring for such a short hike - dirt paths, good amount of up/down, GREAT views. Lovely little short hike.

Great hike - lots of uphill but nice trail. Great views

Though quite short hike, there are couple hills up and down and exposed to sun. During beach closure impossible to access Hap Mung Bay even for a photo

Conditions: Great!

The trail is on the back of the hill, has a bit uphill and downhills. But nice view along the way!
